It is with great pleasure that I can inform you of a wonderful achievement of one of our Vampires.
Patrick Bines from the U11 East Team was awarded the MSJF leagues B&F. This is simply an outstanding achievement by Patrick.
We our extremely proud of this achievement and wholeheartedly congratulate Patrick.
It would be remiss not to also congratulate his parents and to John O’Shea his coach and to all of those involved in his development and mentoring.
This award could well start a big week for Patrick and his fellow 11 East Team mates as they head into this weekend’s Grand Final.

Thanks Telstra
Telstra dials up the goods!
Telstra has committed more than $1 million this year to support eligible junior sports and community clubs across Australia with equipment grants.
The Vampires have been selected to receive assistance from the Telstra Community Assistance fund with an extensive range of football and training equipment being supplied for the 2011 season.
The Vampires Committee applied to the program outlining the significant increase in teams and number of families now involved in the club.
“It was clear the increase in the number of participants was putting a strain on our resources” said Club President Greg Wallace, “this support from Telstra is very timely as the cost of fielding 22 teams and 200 kids in Auskick is putting pressure on the Club finances. Also, our focus on skills and fitness training has meant more need for specialised equipment.”
“The Telstra assistance fund is an excellent support program for grass root sports and this equipment will help the Club cope with next years increase in team numbers and importantly assist with skill levels at all levels. Our thanks go to Telstra for this support.”
